This web­site was designed and coded by Ian Storm Taylor. It was built on top of Wordpress and is hosted by Dreamhost. Early sketches were drawn in one of Behance’s Dot Grid Books and sev­eral mockups were pro­duced in Adobe’s Photoshop CS4. The theme was coded with HTML, CSS, PHP and a little jQuery magic—all edited in Panic’s Coda. Everything was done on an Apple MacBook Pro run­ning Snow Leopard while wearing my favorite pair of Levi’s 511s.

The type­face used for titles across the site is League Gothic from the League of Movable Type, which is served up by Typekit. Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, or Arial is used for body copy throughout the site depending on your system. Georgia is used in the headers and footers of each page. All of the text on the site has been beau­ti­fied thanks to Jeffrey D. King’s wp-Typography plugin for Wordpress.

The port­folio slideshows are served up using Chris Coyier’s Anything Slider jQuery Plugin. Forms site-wide have been enhanced by Douglas Neiner’s In-Field Labels jQuery Plugin. In addi­tion, Wordpress has been expanded with the help of sev­eral other plugins:
